Up Against The Wall

photocrati gallery My grumpy old editor from The Melody Maker told me never to accept photos of people shot against brick walls. It's not the most imaginative background I know, but to add some continuity and a light touch of urban grittiness to these profile pictures of the staff from groovy design agency Fjord,  a bit of interior brickwork seems to work quite well.

An Innocent Smoothie

A book called I Wish I Worked There by Kursty Groves is being launched at Sony Music Entertainment tomorrow night. This is my picture of Richard Reed, he's one of the managing partners of Innocent who feature in the book. His juggling skills weren't up to much but thanks to the wonders of still photography we were able to create the illusion with a bit of fruit tossing. The Innocent office in Shepherds Bush was a fantastic work space, astroturf flooring, picnic tables and as much mashed up bottled fruit as you can drink. Quite a compromise from my workplace then at The Times, the depressing 80s industrial, fortress Wapping.
